TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
In my experience, Systems Analysts are always dealing with programming and
are the group that develop software requirements (based on business
requirements, how do we build it). Business Analysts are the group that work
"between" the client and developers to develop business requirements (what
does the application need to do).

Subject: Systems Analyst Newsgroups???
To all listsev members:
Do you know of any newsgroups or listservs for Systems Analysts?
I am interested in talking with Systems Analysts who are focused on
technical communications (and not programming). I am most interested
in communicating with analysts who develop software requirements
specifications.
Thanks
Tony Markatos
