Brief Job Description:
- Interview with software development team and inspect the software to
gather material needed to write documentation.
- Create documentation e.g. user manuals, programmer?s guides and
reference books.
- Consult with development team to ensure technical accuracy and
completeness of documentation.
- Review and comment on documents created by other authors.
- Maintain existing documentation as required.
Experience and Qualifications:
- You are an English native speaker
- You have a technical background. An interest in programming is
necessary.
- You will have proven writing experience, preferably within a software
development environment.
- You are computer literate and have a working knowledge of some
Authoring Tools. Experience of FrameMaker and PowerPoint would be
desirable but not essential.
- Communications skills - you will be able to converse easily with all
team members.
