Systems & Computer Technology Corp (SCT) is looking for a
full-time, mid-level technical writer. The Education Systems
division of SCT develops software products that provide
administrative solutions to the higher education market (Student,
Alumni/Development, Finance, Financial Aid, and Human Resources).
This position is located in Malvern, PA, a western suburb of
Philadelphia.
Responsibilities include:
-Maintaining existing hardcopy user manuals
-Writing release documentation
-Writing new online help
This position requires:
-Excellent writing skills
-Ability to work with technical developers
-Curiosity to learn how the product works
-Ability to learn and use a variety of tools
-Ability to work with minimal supervision
Our current tool set includes FrameMaker, Word, RoboHELP, Canvas,
and HiJaak. Experience with these tools is helpful but not
required.
