Many thanks to all who responded to my page setup question. I eventually
found a solution by muckin around with Word all evening, but I'm still
not sure what the problem was! To fix it, I made everything into one
column, ToC and Index included, et voila! And whn I put the ToC and
Index back into 2 columns it was still fine. Does anyone else think Word
is like some wayward child?
