My reply:
I use real blank pages in my guides without headers, footers and page
numbers. When I produce Postscript files, the blank pages are thrown out
like you say but my printer (the company that prints my guides) adds blank
pages in front of chapters to make them appear on the right (without headers
and footers) with a software he uses to send postscript files to his
million-dollar printers. Does not cost me a dime.
