To be honest...yes it is, and here's why.
When I've interviewed for positions, the decision for
the hire/no hire usualy came within 48 hours. By the
time the thankyou note would have arrived, it would be
arriving at a destination where I either have it or
don't have it. If the former, it's superflous. If the
later...well, TNT.
If I have the person's email address, then I will send
off an email that evening. otherwise...
