Hi there,
Were having trouble with a Word97 manual and its table of contents.
We're using the Heading styles to automatically generate the TOC and all
the headings are numbered. Yet when we generate the TOC only a few of
the entries have their numbering. Also you can't jump to the relevant
page just by clicking hte mouse on the page number (where the hand
symbol appears). The manual is around 80 pages long with few graphics.
How do we get the heading numbering to appear in the TOC? Any idea
what's wrong? The Microsoft helpdesk couldn't help. Thanks.
