You are missing Jacque's point, which is, that for technical documents, Word
is no match for a true DTP app.
Word is notorious for its un-WSYWIG-ness. No one can deny this. Jacque was
simply venting some steam over a known fact.
(Personally, I prefer FrameMaker for structured docs, but I would choose PM
or Quark over Word any day.)
