I'd like to second the question of why HR and other interview types can't
ask straight forward, upfront questions?
Could it be they are desperately trying to put their phsycology degrees to
use?
BTW, answers for the two examples of strange questions:
Dog & mess in kitchen:"Get rid of the dog and call the maid."
What am I looking at?:"What are you looking at?"
