Position Description:
Technical Writer/Help Developer
Scope and Responsibility:
1. Responsible for developing context-sensitive help for introduction
into our complex 32-bit practice management Windows product.
2. Implement strategic plan for overall help system design including
standards, style, and templates.
3. Once developed, will be responsible for maintenance of online help
to ensure consistency with future product releases.
4. Will eventually share some responsibility for maintenance of
existing user/administrator guides.
Requirements:
1. Demonstrated experience in producing high-quality online help (3-5
years experience).
2. Strong research and writing skills.
3. Proven proficiency with RoboHelp and Microsoft Word.
4. Ability to accurately estimate task duration and meet schedules, and
to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
interact with all levels of management.
6. Team player.
7. Related degree required.
8. Experience/knowledge of healthcare industry a plus.
