Research Triangle Park facility. This position will help instructors
understand the eduprise.com software tools to develop IT-based curricula,
and will assist with the application of technology to the instructional
process.
Specific functions include teaching instructional technology training
courses at our facility and at client sites, and providing consultation for
instructors both in person and via telephone and online technologies. You
will also create instructor training materials in a variety of media
(face-to-face and online technologies). Working with instructors and subject
matter experts, you will also help develop online curricula.
A Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education or related field is
preferred. You must have at least two years of experience teaching or
developing instructional technology courses in higher education and/or a
corporate environment. Online teaching experience in any subject matter is
highly desirable. Competence with the Internet and Web is required.
Knowledge of HTML and presentation software applications a plus. You must be
able to work as a team member, and to travel 6-10 days a month. Desired
background includes working knowledge of distance learning and online
pedagogies and technologies that can be used for adult and higher education
and training.
