Subject:Solution: MS Word: how to get a list of graphics From:"Jessica N. Lange" <jlange -at- OEE -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 9 Jun 1999 14:58:50 -0400

Thanks to all who replied.
For what we need to do*, Diane Giangrossi's simple solution works:
Use Edit->Links to see a list of the linked files in a document.
*A former co-worker put ALL graphics in a single folder.
(Totally against department standards. sigh)
We need to separate out the graphics used in a particular
document, put 'em in a separate folder, and archive the
document and its graphics-folder. With the Edit->Links window
and Windows Explorer open together, we can do this. Slowly, but
it can be done.
Thanks to Diane Giangrossi, Keith Soltys, Geoff Lane &
Ed Klopfenstein. The members of this list are a generous
--and knowledgeable-- bunch!

We link graphics (rather than embed them) in our Word documents.
Does anyone know of a way to generate a list of the graphics
used in the document? Could a macro do this?
