Subject:Re: What kind of names do you make up? From:Chris Hamilton <caxdj -at- EARTHLINK -dot- NET> Date:Thu, 10 Jun 1999 14:22:00 -0400
I use baseball player names, only their real names:
George Anderson (Sparky), George Ruth (Babe), George Seaver (Tom),
Robert Wilson (Hack), James Bell (Cool Papa), Mordecai Brown
(Three-Finger), Jay Hanna Dean (Dizzy).
Then there are some baseball player names that sound as if they are
women's names (so I don't get accused of sexism): Addie Joss, Eppa
Rixey, etc. Then there's always the Girl's Professional Baseball League
(the basis for _A League of Their Own_).
