Subject:Creating a Word-to-Frame Template From:Robert Campbell <rcampbell -at- SYNOMICS -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 16 Jun 1999 10:50:06 +0100
Hi all,
I'm trying to create an MS Word 97 template which contains all the styles
(with exactly the same style names) we use in our Frame 5.5.6 documents.
This template will be used by the development engineers to document
processes in Word.
The Word documents will then be imported into Frame and, because they have
the same style names as the Frame template, should import pretty well, and
need minimal formatting afterwards.
The reason for this is that we have three Frame user licences, but many more
MS Office licences, so this saves buying more Frame licences, as well as
reducing the conversion effort.
Does anybody have any ideas on how to make this easier? And, more
importantly, will it work?
TIA
Robert Campbell
