Technical Writer
Primary responsibilities are researching and writing online
Help and end user documentation, and other duties as assigned. Additional
responsibilities include attending project planning meetings, and working
proactively with other departments and team members to ensure consistency
and accuracy to software and style guidelines.
Qualifications include 1-2 years' experience writing Help
systems and end user documentation. Proven ability to work in a team
environment with excellent writing and communication skills. Attention to
detail and an ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced, multiple project
environment while meeting deadlines is a must. Experience with home building
and accounting is a plus.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Windows, Robohelp,
Acrobat, Word 97. Familiarity with screen capture programs and graphics is a
plus. A BA/BA in Technical Communications, Journalism, English or other
related field.
Technical Editor
Primary responsibilities are editing online Help and end
user documentation, and other duties as assigned. Additional
responsibilities include working proactively with team members to ensure
consistency and accuracy to software and style guidelines.

Editorial Assistant
Primary responsibilities are maintaining CD-ROM
documentation for software releases, writing/editing end user documentation
as needed, assisting technical writers and editors in gathering information,
maintaining document inventory and online tracking system, ordering and
distributing electronic and hard copy documentation as needed, and other
duties as assigned. Additional responsibilities include working proactively
with team members to ensure consistency and accuracy to software and style
guidelines.
Proven ability to work in a team environment with excellent
editing and communication skills. Attention to detail and an ability to
maintain focus in a fast-paced, multiple project environment while meeting
deadlines is a must.
Knowledge of Word 97. Familiarity with Robohelp and Acrobat
