Thanks, Janet. It's kind of ironic that I couldn't find this in an AltaVista search! Or maybe it means I'm a pathetic researcher...

...Nah, it's all Compaq's fault!

Note to cheapskates and those of you (like me) with cheapskate management: AltaVista Search Intranet v2.3 (http://altavista.software.digital.com/search/index.asp) is priced at $1,000 and up. AV says the free version (http://altavista.software.digital.com/search/intranet/free_3k/index.asp) will index up to 3,000 web pages or PC application files, which is plenty for my needs.
