Interesting to hear that teleworking is as much a myth in the US as it is in
UK.
I have given up mentioning the concept of teleworking to prospective
employers; the response is normally either one of complete bafflement (as if
the employer had never heard of the term or the concept) or one of outright
hostility (a desire to work at home being seen as evidence of laziness,
unprofessionalism or fraudulent intent).
