TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Are you going to TechComm '99? A few of us techwhirlers are
attending and are planning to get together.
We will try to meet at the Sunday evening "chocolate party". You
can try to recognize me as one of the few (only?) women not eating
chocolate. I have short brown hair, and will wear an appropriate
techwr-l pin (of a blue diskette, red computer terminal, and a can
filled with pens and other writing implements).
If we do not manage to meet on Sunday (with those who have
contacted me), and there is a message board for the conference, I
will post a message on the board (to "techwhirlers") with a
suggestion as to where we could meet for lunch on Tuesday.
I look forward to meeting some of you at TechComm!
