I work for a company called International Translation and Publishing, who
are also a localisation supplier. You can check us out at

For a general search try<http://aquarius.net>. I found most of the first round
agencies here and they have an extensive list of independent translators as
well.

All of those contacted were very responsive and answered any questions. Most
also asked the right questions about the project. I haven't actually used
any of
the above services so I can't make any recommendation about them. All offered
both translation and localization services which is a good thing. Some use
machine-assisted translation and some don't, but even if they do a human
translator does the final work.
