customer support, defect tracking, sales, field service, and internal help
desk functions. Publicly traded with $100-$250 million in annual sales.
About 9 years old.

Produce online and printed documentation for state of the art e-customer
software. You will work with limited supervision to produce high quality
documentation from functional specifications and prototypes.

This is a senior position requiring an experienced, flexible, and proactive

Essential Job Responsibilities:
Produce timely and high-quality user and developer documentation for
Enterprise products, including user guides, reference manuals, API manuals,
and installation and
upgrade documents
Participate in project teams and contribute to product and design
specifications as required
Develop outlines and plans for new documents and revisions
Manage multiple projects, and multiple releases of customer documentation
Serve as a technical resource on product areas and as a peer reviewer, and
participate in all the processes of a team
Requirements of this Position:
Knowledge of RDBMS concepts and/or programming with C or JavaScript (RDBMS
not a must)
BA/BS in Computer Science, English, Journalism, or equivalent industry
experience
Minimum of five years software technical writing experience
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Windows/NT
Knowledge of client/server and Web-based software
Knowledge of FrameMaker or similar desktop publishing system
Demonstrated project management and multi-tasking ability
Experience with WinHelp and HTML a plus
