Subject:Re: SR2 for Office 97 From:Mary McWilliams Johnson <mary -at- SUPERCONNECT -dot- COM> Date:Thu, 22 Jul 1999 20:08:10 -0500
I very badly need to load SR2 for Office 97. I downloaded Odesp2.exe, which
I understand to be the SR2 patch for Word97 running on NT.
But when I tried to install it, I got a message telling me I had to
install Microsoft Office Developer Edition Tools on my system before I
could install the SR2 patch.
Please tell me--
- why I need the Microsoft Office Developer Edition
- where I can find the Microsoft Office Developer Edition
Tools. I've searched the Microsoft Web site for an hour, without success.
Cordially, Mary McWilliams Johnson
