Subject:Numbering in Word2000 From:"Eric J. Ray" <ejray -at- RAYCOMM -dot- COM> Date:Mon, 26 Jul 1999 06:09:34 -0600
Well, it sounds like there are issues with auto-numbering
in Word 2000--Woody's Office Watch weekly mailing has information
about it (www.wopr.com, but the latest updates aren't on the site yet).
Volume 4, Number 30 is the one you're looking for, but they're
promising more in the next issue.
The short version: Word2000 ties numbering settings into the
Windows Registry, so (in additional ongoing issues with restarting
numbering and similar oddities) problems are quite likely
when sharing documents on multiple computers.
FYI,
Eric
