Can't E-mail with Acrobat form
FACTS:
- I have created a form in Acrobat, and I want the results e-mailed to a certain address.
- All the computers in my organization are supposed to be set up with Netscape Mail with POP3 protocol.
- I tried both the mailto: option and the _javascript_ option from the Acrobat documentation.
- I have no trouble getting mailto: to work with our system and html forms.
- I would rather not get into cgi right now because of time and security issues.
When I try to respond to the form in Netscape, it tries to set up Microsoft Exchange on my computer, rather than using my default e-mail.
As I am transferring to faculty is less than two weeks, (YEAH!!)
and I'm not sure how long it'll take them to lure another tech writer to
Tahlequah, OK, I really need to set these forms up asap. If you have
an answer, please help, and thank you.
