You can format the TOC styles to be anything you want, just as you format
other styles or create new ones.
The hyperlink remains when I update my TOC.
1. Click Format > Style. The Style dialog box opens.
2. Select the style in the left pane.
3. Click Modify. The Modify Style dialog box opens.
4. Click Automatically update.
5. Click OK in the Modify Style dialog box.
6. Click Close in the Style dialog box.
Do this for all of your TOC styles.
