Subject:Technical Manual in a "movie" scene From:James Bauman <JBauman -at- SAFETY-KLEEN -dot- COM> Date:Mon, 2 Aug 1999 09:34:06 -0500
Hello,
For those of you with kids, you might want to tag along if they view the
motion
picture---"Inspector Gadget"---if only to catch a brief scene. There's a
good
sight gag regarding the technical manual that describes the main character's
new, gadgetized body. Upon its presentation, she gives the technical
writers'
time-honored admonition to "read the manual." Later, at a life-threatening
moment, she asks in a panicky voice if he "read the manual."
