Subject:PDF to HTML? From:PGSPersEng -at- AOL -dot- COM Date:Wed, 25 Aug 1999 02:20:34 EDT
Hi gang,
I would appreciate some advice on how to convert some legacy PDFs into
HTMLs.
The original files (long gone) were created with PageMaker and then
converted
to PDFs, which are on hand. The client wants them converted to HTML. These
are 3-column multipage magazine articles.
What's the easiest way? Which tools would work best (Acrobat? Frame? Word?).
The long way seems to open the PDF with Acrobat, grab sections of text (how
do I select multiple columns across multiple pages all at once?) and export
them as RTF. Then import them into Frame and export as HTML.
