The STC Suncoast and the STC Northern Gulf Coast Chapters are co-sponsoring
the 1999 Florida Technical Communication Competition. The competition is open
to everyone, not just STC members. Professional and student technical
communicators are encouraged to enter the competition. Valuable feedback is
provided to the entrants by the judges who are experienced technical
communicators.
There are three categories: Technical Publications, Online Communication, and
Technical Art. Entries receiving the highest awards at the local level will
be submitted to the STC International Technical Communication Competition.
The international winners will be eligible to display an official STC emblem
identifying the entry as an international competition winner and will be on
display at the 47th STC International Conference in Orlando, Florida in May
2000.
For more information and an entry form visit the STC Suncoast Chapter website
at www.stc.org/region3/sun/www/index.html. Entries must be postmarked by
