One word of warning--WWP has a bug that causes bitmapped graphics in
anchored frames to appear streaked after conversion. This bug was supposed
to have been fixed with the lastest patch, but I still see the probelm on
occasion.
Other than that, the ideal output depends on the composition of the original
image. If you have mostly line art or images with large areas with solid
color, GIF or PNG should be fine. Images with gradients, photographs, or the
like look better as JPEGs.
