Using annotations in a compiled help file for review

Hi Gang,
I have been charged with "polishing up" a help file that was abandoned by
the original author very near the end of a project. I reviewed the compiled
version and used the Annotation feature of the help system to annotate each
topic with requests for more information and other questions. However, when
I tried to copy the annotated version of the .hlp file to the client's PC,
the annotations would not display.
Does anyone out there have any idea how to transfer the annotations with the
hlp or where Windows stores the annotation text? Failing that, is there a
way to print all the annotations within the file? And finally, was this a
stupid idea?
Thanks for any suggestions. Please send replies to pat -dot- obrien -at- pobox -dot- com -dot-
