To change the folder where your files are automatically saved:
1. Open up the Tools menu
2. Choose Options
3. Select the File Locations tab
4. Highlight "Documents" in the window and click the "Modify" button
5. Enter the correct path for the folder where you want your documents
stored.
6. Click OK on the Modify Location window
7. Click OK on the Options window
That's it! Word will now look for and save your documents in the folder you
specified.
