Could anyone assist with compressing a pdf file? Two of our manuals are
currently around the 6 - 9 Mb file size which a few of our customers feel
is too large. I am using tiffs (as directed by Adobe) and saving as PDF in
Framemaker 5.5.6 to a PS printer.
I have tried re-opening the document in Acrobat and then saving as pdf
again, but the file does not compress. I am using Acrobat 4.0 and am
wondering if my settings have anything to do with. Any assistance would be
appreciated.
