The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Another good listserv is the one run by the HTML Writers Guild. They have
a variety of web-related listservs, and one deals with GUI issues. I just
signed up for it today, actually. Their lists are usually good so I expect
this one to be, too, although I can't verify that from experience. For
