Watching all these Team Building emails go by, I've decided to add my two
cents. I'll be brief.

Over the years, I have participated in Team Building in different companies
and in organizations. These exercises are nice little windows of time where
people learn the good and bad about co-workers. When families were included
in the groups, I could learn about colleagues by seeing them in their roles
as spouses and parents. Some of us became friends outside the office, which
was a great perk.

BUT...The people in the office who don't get along with other people still
won't get along with other people... no matter how much time, money and mud
you toss at them! Even if they [bother to] put on the happy face during the
exercises, when they return to the office they revert to their nasty
behavior.
