Not many people get this, but I keep saying it anyway. The best overall
solution to this issue would be to vanish the female pronouns. This would
force the male pronouns to become non-genderal.
This saves us having to create a totally new set of pronouns, and renders
acceptable the huge body of printed material already in existence.
