Pia:
I am assuming you are using PM 6.5. You should be able to define
links that jump from one part of a document to another.
I can't answer the other question about opening outside documents. My
understanding is that you have to import the drawing into the document.

In PageMaker, can I insert a command in PageMaker that translates to a link
in pdf? When the user clicks on the link, he jumps to another
location.)
insert a hot spot area / link that opens a drawing/file in
e.g. AutoCad when clicked on in pdf? (first launch the program,
and then open the file)
Are there any plugins for PageMaker that could help with
this kind of job?
Any experiences with PageMaker and pdf much appreciated,
especially tricks, pitfalls and bugs.
Pia
