If you do use this suggestion, note that PSP Version 6 does have vector text
capabilities.

Pat,
Why not add the numbers to the image in PSP using the text tool? Of course,
you can't edit the text the way you can in a vector-based graphics program,
but you can antialias the text to improve the appearance. And, if you need
to edit the numbers later, you can save the image in native PSP format and
place the numbers on a separate layer. Just merge the layers and save the
image as WMF (or whatever you need) when you're ready to use it -- you'll
still have the multilayer PSP version available for future editing.
