Anonymous writes about someone who seriously didn't work out in
ways he didn't think he could find out during the interview. One
problem was that the person didn't take editorial criticism well.
I was speaking recently with some people who told me about their
technique for finding out how a person reacts to editorial criticism
(during the interview): show the interviewee his resume or cover
letter with a couple of corrections or suggested changes.
From some of the problems I am also surprised that anonymous
didn't get any tip-off from references.
