If you're resizing the bitmaps, you'll likely see some (read A LOT of) image
degradation. You might try a few things:
- Capture only relevant areas of a screen rather than entire dialogues or
windows.
- Use WMF files instead of BMP. WMFs resize with less degradation, but only
to a degree.
- Reference the images instead of pasting them directly into Word. To do
this, place all of your screen captures into a single directory, point your
project file (in the project settings) to that directory, then use codes to
reference the graphics. The codes look something like
{bmc myimage.wmf}
Unfortunately, printing anything with graphics from WinHelp has limitations.
If you need better quality print, you might want to look at other solutions.
Feel free to contact me offlist if you want to discuss options.
