documentation and manage document production for a software development company
in Wayne, PA. The company develops e-mail backbone software that enables
communication between local-area and wide-area networks, including Internet.
You will be responsible for:
* Editing user documentation written by software developers
* Coordinating the technical review process
* Managing production of documents in final form
You need:
* To be able to focus on both minute details and whole documents.
* To have strong project management skills.
* To be able to learn quickly the details of the company's products.
* To have a Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing or related field,
or if you can demonstrate writing competence, Computer Science or
Information Systems.
* To have 0-2 years of experience in software user documentation.
* To be familiar with at least one PC-based word processing package.
Familiarity with Ami Pro, Word for Windows, or PC-based drawing
applications is highly desirable.
