Review of Help & Manual by EC Software: Service and Support ImpressionsI was pleased to see that I did indeed receive a response from Help & Manual service and support within 24 hours. Their response was excellent. They explained that I could not search and replace for links, per se, but did advise how I could do this. They explained how to do this in the XML files, and suggested a tool that would help me to do this. My guess is that this kind of a search and replace is not common enough to merit investing in doing this (though they did not say so). However, what was clear, whoever read my email understood exactly what the problem was and related correctly to the issue upon first contact! I will not mention the company's but I have worked with several other Help tools, where what seemed to me simple and straight-forward questions had to be explained several times before I could get someone to relate to my question correctly. The quick, correct, and well-written response are a definite plus for Help & Manual users.
