That's right. Yet, first of all, anything you do in a public place on
the internet can potentially be used by someone, for commercial profit.
That's true for such a huge list as this one just as well.
Second of all let's keep in mind that platforms like LinkedIn start
profiting long before that: They use the data we provide to offer
services and information to those companies and bodies using them for
their profit.
Last but not at all least: We profit by anything others provide that
way, too: Acquiring knowledge and skills we can 'market' after that -
in our own respective profession, 'any old way'.

Nothing wrong with that, as long as you go into it fully aware that
someone is going to profit off what you provide for free (and in this
particular case, that they're trying to use you as a free replacement
for paid personnel who they just terminated).
