OO is Object-Oriented design, typically applied to programming but
lately (as discussed here) applied to documentation. The listserv
keeps track of old messages, so you might want to retrieve some of
the messages that discussed it. Bonni Graham wrote a paper on
applying the concepts to documentation, as did another writer here who
was kind enough to fax me a copy. Excellent material.
