Check out OpenText's Livelink product. I used to administrate it on my last
product. We used the web browser client, mostly, because it solved our
in-house cross-platform problems. But last I checked, the document
management capability cannot be ordered as a separate entree. It comes with
workflow, task management, and a search engine.

If everyone you work with has an IBM PC on their desk, try KeyFile. I think
it might be a Microsoft product. I've seen this one demo-ed, and I spent
some time on their web pages analyzing their features, but have never used
it. It looks cool, though.

Good luck!

Howdy, Yall:

I have searched the archives and found some relevant
material, but it does not directly answer my questions.

We are looking to find a cross-platform (Unix and NT),
enterprise wide solution to document management. We
probably need one of the bigger and better systems
since this will be a division wide repository.

Are any of you using such systems? What kind do you
think of them? Would you recommend it? What kind of
problems have you found?

Thanks for the help, Melonie
