A good resource for medical writers and editors is AMWA --
American Medical Writers Association.
www.amwa.org
This organization is the equivalent of STC for "biomedical
communicators."
The AMWA site offers a freelance directory, job listings for
members, the AMWA Journal, information about annual and
chapter conferences, and an education program to help
medical writers to extend their expertise.
Hope this helps.
