Just because everyone jumped off a cliff (or drank a specific flavor
of Kool-aid) doesn't mean I would.

And I'm going to feel good that I'm being judged by the same criteria
that you judge a junior writer?

This candidate (me) was never asked to create a writing sample during
the interview...which is why I've never had to say no....but I
imagine it will, someday, and then I'll have to (say no, that is).

A writing sample (what, a couple of paragraphs or three?) will tell
you that I can create what? A couple of paragraphs or three? I have
much more depth and skill that I've worked very hard to attain than
to be judged on a paragraph or two.

Oh, BTW...my resume is about six pages and all I hear (even as recent
as last Monday) is impressive...but then maybe that's because one of
the pages is a comnplete page of references, all with management
responsibilities. I guess ya go with what works.
