Seems like ages ago that I wanted to do the same thing. This is no
encouragement, but after hours developing clickable structure maps of the
application and interlacing help text ideas it was all trashed. I'm
guessing that is was because manual writing was concurrent with development,
implementation, use and inevitable re-design.
If you are working with a stable screen or a half thought out business
process than you're a little farther ahead than I was.
I will never go back to writing for "green screen."
