I once had a candidate tell me in an interview that he had exaggerated a bit in his qualifications. Said that everyone did that a bit, and so had he. I had to bite my tongue to keep from saying, "I don't."

Oh yeah. Been there a done that, and learned some tricks on how to be
sharper in reviewing the alleged portfolio of a candidate.
