Our process for updating documentation is to route it to me. Our trainer saw
me in the lunch room today and said, "I was looking at your document because
I'm teaching a class about it tomorrow [to in-house staff] and I have some
changes. Do you want me to make the changes or can we get together this
afternoon to make the changes so I have it for class tomorrow?"

I said, "Go ahead and make your changes. It's more important that the
content is correct for your class tomorrow than it is for me to adhere to
our process and make the changes myself. We can get together next week and
go over your changes."

> Ideas, suggestions, comments, solutions, etc. appreciated.
