Subject:cross references in Word From:kevin -dot- sporleder -at- bankofamerica -dot- com To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Tue, 6 Mar 2001 10:33:20 -0600
Would anyone know why cross references in Word would dramatically increase
file size? We have a couple documents with page number and heading
references that have more than doubled in size since we added page number
references like: "See Page [field code] for more information." (We haven't
added all that many references.) We'd like to continue using Word's cross
reference feature because it simplifies updates, but may be unable to
because of the file size increases. Does anyone have any suggestions?
