We decided to NOT include a hardcopy manual with our new product - Wright
Design Pro 2.2 (Multiple page layout gfx proggy) - if the users want a
glorious glossy they can send $29.95 to an address in NA who specialise in
print-on-demand software manuals.
We include a PDF optimised for A4 simplex with the software so users can
print it out for themselves in b&w.
No the decision was not mine. Yes, I think its a great way of reducing our
costs as we don't need to order a run of 5000+ 300page books (pre-paid
before sales).
IPCC 01, the IEEE International Professional Communication Conference,
